UYO AUDIENCE ASSESSMENTS OF FACIAL EXPRESSIONS OF TELEVISION BROADCASTERS IN UYO METROPOLIS
A close examination was done on the research topic: Uyo Audience Assessments of Facial Expressions of Television Broadcasters with Reference to AKBC TV and NTA 12. The study’s design was the survey. The study’s population was 554,020 and a sample of One Hundred (100) was considered and it was determined through the simple random sampling. Findings revealed that a greater percentage of the respondents were not addicted to television viewing of AKBC TV and NTA 12. Secondly, the study also found that a greater percentage of respondents were not much fascinated by the audible aspect of the television broadcasters. Based on this subject matter, the study recommended that television broadcast journalists should be sent on broadcast trainings, secondly effective practices should be done before television broadcast programmes are presented and lastly, television broadcast journalists should be motivated so that they can be inspirited to perform.
