1.1 BACKGROUND TO THE STUDY
Today one phenomenon, whose existence cannot be predicted with certainly an absolute knowledge in spite of its beauty as a concept, is the role of effective management information system. The available site would only allow us to predict the trends of an organization operation with some degree of confidence. To add qualities to those trends in physical sense could attribute to two principal reasons. Firstly, the multi-policy of variable implies on any organizational situation is so great that date would not be sufficient to predict, the precise outcome of the multiple interrelationship would be precise. Secondly, what seems to be an inherent ability to human being is over-ride on the influence of his behavior? The option identified and achieve among the other things by seasoned management theorist like Peter Drunker, Dutton MC for land, Frees western and a host of other in an effective aciculate management information system is the identification of these important, but multi-dimensional function at management information system. It is the desired to know more about it that made the researcher to choose it as the topic.
Information process refers to the dissemination of knowledge, example of organization system, intelligence of system management information system, decision support system and administrative control system. The above are of great importance as they aid the functioning of an organization. It is through the information system that the functioning and the monitoring of organization are operating. This is an important aspect of management information system. These message rely on by various unit in the organization are sometimes have to do with the environment situation, latest techniques or the production to mention just few. It therefore adequate to mention the fact that the performance and behavior of any organization are highly closely linked to organization information processing. The close link doubt of the fact that much of those daily routine of organization entail information exchange and coordinating. To this effect both activities are depended upon communication network therefore could be seen as a permissible focus for the co-operative communication in an organization and the fact that management information system an effective tools in the achievement of cooperate objectives.
