THE IMPACT OF EMPLOYEE TRAINING ON PERFORMANCE AND PRODUCTIVITY

This research work was designed to investigate the impact of employee’s training on performance and productivity of an organization. (Akwa Ibom Water Board Company, Uyo.) In other to explain or analyze in a systematic way the various issues raised in this project. The researcher has arranged the study in five chapters. Chapter one was the introduction and background of the study, dealing with statement of problems, objective of the study, significance of the study, research question, scope and limitation. In chapter two, the researcher undertook review of related literature on the subject matter.Chapter three was on research design and methodology, while chapter four presented data analysis served and interpreted summary of work done, drew conclusion and made recommendations as contained in chapter of this work. The data collected through questionnaire were also analyzed in the study, in addition with the hypothesis testing. In all useful measures were made to the company on how to meet their stated goals and objectives
