THE EFFECT OF STAFF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT ON THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ORGANIZATION GOALS
This research focused on the Effect of Staff Organizational Goals with Oruk Anam Local government Area as then case study. The main objective of carrying out the research work was to examine the effect of staff training on achievement of organizational goals. It aimed at exposing the meaning of personnel training conceptual framework of staff training, training and development, purpose of training, techniques of identify training needs, importance of training and development in an organization, training methods in an organization and evaluation of training. The descriptive research method was used in the study and sample size was draw after employing the Yaro Yamani formula, data were collected, presented and analyzed, testing of hypothesis and finding were discussed based on information gathered through the administered questionnaire. The finding of the study revealed that staff training helps to increase workers and organizational performance and productivity. It was also discovered that training programme of an organization help to indentify task requirement of a particular job. The findings arrived at the point that through proper and effective training personnel, management despite challenges can make alternative and better decisions on an organization effectively and efficiently. Having achieve the findings the following recommendations work made that; specialist should be called upon to implement the training programmes of an organization, the training needs of employees and organization, should be indentify first ‘before embarking on the training process and the organization should train their works continuously to equip them with the require knowledge and skills needed for this daily operations.
