SYNERGY IN NEWS PRODUCTION AND PRESENTATION

An analytical content research study in synergy in news production and presentation of NTA channel 12 Uyo was carried out. The study’s design was the content analysis. The study’s population was 182 while the sample was 96. Findings revealed that the frequency distribution of synergy in news production and presentation of NTA channel 12 Uyo according to area of focus was mainly the urban. On the aspect of rating of synergy in news production and presentation of NTA channel 12 Uyo, the rating was simply high. Then, Uyo senatorial district was more concentrated on and news production and presentation were very short. Based on these researches done, the study recommended that; synergy on news production and presentation of NTA channel 12 Uyo should reflect the three senatorial districts. Secondly, coverage of both national and local news should be reflected in synergy in news production and presentation of NTA channel 12 Uyo. Also news production and presentation in terms of synergy should be longer and lastly, more researches in synergy in news production and presentation of NTA channel 12 Uyo should be done on routine basis.
