STAFF DUTY ALLOCATION RECORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY OF HOLY CHILD GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL, IKOT EKPENE)
ABSTRACT
This research work focused on Staff Duty Allocation Record Management System using Holy Child secondary school, IkotEkpene as a case study. The aim and objectives of the study is to develop a system to maintain proper record of the duties assigned to every teacher or non-teaching staff. The manual system of managing this information is time consuming and it is also difficult to update duty records. To overcome these problems, a software system is needed to automate the manual process. The benefit of the system is that it will enable the management of the institution to easily assign and update duties record. The software development methodology used is object oriented analysis and design methodology and the programming language used is Visual Basic 6.0. It was concluded that maintaining duty records of staff with the aid of a computer program elevates the work procedures of the school management. It is recommended that more research should be encouraged in the area of duty allocation management, the management of institutions should train their staffs to be computer literate.
