INFLUENCE OF NEWS COMMERCIALIZATION ON BROADCAST MEDIA
This research project was designed to unveil the “Influence of News Commercialization on the Broadcast Media a study of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) 12 Uyo” in an attempt to carry out the study, this work was divided into five chapters.
The researcher adopted this method because it enable investigate the subject matter and helped him to get a better result.
The major source of data ethics project were media practitioners and private individuals, using the questionnaire the researcher through this study discovered that news commercialization has positive and negative impacts on the broadcast media even though the media make profit from it, it is obvious that news commercialization denies the public access to right in formation, which is concussively; this study recommends that the media should create out their commercial to differ from their news period to enable the public have access to right information and thus be aware of what is happening in the society at any point in time.
