DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMPUTERIZED POPULATION CENSUS MONITORING SYSTEM

The purpose of the study was to design and implement a computer- based population monitoring system for Enugu State. The researcher critically analyzed the existing census system to sort out the bottlenecks hindering the effective census computation. He went further to design the new system which is capable of solving the census problem within a twinkle of an eye using the computerized identity card. Above all, he crowned his ability by writing a well tested program which is capable of calculating the zone, printing out the total of each local government area with the largest and the smallest population.
