DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMPUTERIZED LAND INFORMATION

Land information system is a program written to assist the ministry of land and urban development Enugu, in the area of effective recording of all issue of land information. It helps the organization to keep effective and reliable records of all the land in the state. Over the years, the society has been facing with the improper arrangement of building in the state. The organization has been finding it difficult to effectively management of land information issues but with this land information system; this will make it easier to tackle problems like land security, individual accommodation problems etc. as a result of these computerized land information process. It also emphasis on how land issues can be treated so that the state government will not have much problems concerning land in the state. I used interview as my methodology so as to get the necessary information required in my research directly from a staff in the ministry of land and urban development. The method was easy to me because the staff was open to me, so I used the opportunity to ask her detailed questions concerning the information I needed in my research work. The problem I encountered was that he ministry of land and urban development Enugu found it difficult to release the data/information concerning their ministry to me.
