CAUSES OF FRAUD AND WAYS OF PREVENTING IT IN NIGERIA'S PUBLIC SECTORS
This research was carried out to analyze the problem of fraud in the public sector Chapter one, two and three contain the preliminary research indices which embodies the introduction, review of related literature and methodology among others. The instrument used for data collection was questionnaire. Chi-square x2 statistical form was used to illustrate the analysis. The total population of this study was 50 532 drawn from the organization. Its may also contain physical factors, but they are essentially social systems that deal with individuals and human beings. Practices and procedures need to be well laid out for smooth functioning of the organization; such practices and procedures are meant to provide effective control and we also act as a check on waste, errors and fraud. The individual workers need to be educated and trained, imbued with high ethical standards and goals, and equipped with the right. tools and material incentives to perform.
