It is an interaction by which an individual learns the social and cultural requirement that will make him or her a functioning member of that society which teaches habits, ideas attitudes and values.

          A child is a man in a small letter who when is born becomes a new member in the family. The family background can either contribute to his psychological well being or render him undesirable member through its bad influence.

          Naturally, every normal child wants to be appreciated, wanted and understood. Children get satisfactions from their parents and families and it’s because of these that much of their expenses with their parents are so meaningful parents purpose should be to assist each child to grow and develop manner that will be both personality satisfying to the child and socially acceptable.

          The family is primary both in shaping the child’s personality and in the providing its basic socialization. Why because the family unit is the first instructional school and the parents are is the best guarantee of mental health to the growing child. The home is therefore regarded as the site of learning for the development of child personality.

          Only when children have satisfactory relationship with members of their family that they could enjoy social relationship with people outside their home;

          People have believe that the couldn’t of a child in public places and in all situations portrays his family background.

          The family can either be for better or for worse hinder or protect that personality of the child. It is important to also note that families very in dimensions of control, as you can see or know that child from literate or illiterate, monogamous broken family’s e.t.c

          Produce different personalities because of the different ways of child training or up bringing it is at the family that the child first differentiates himself or herself as liked or disliked wanted or unwanted. This implies that if the foundation of the family is weak, the tendency is that the personality of the child will be dangerous and the society will collapse.
